Day 9 devotional – How to See Yourself The Way God Sees You

GOD ANSWERS MY PRAYERS

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:8 (NKJV)

So, I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.

Luke 11:9 (NKJV)

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

Matthew 7:11 (NKJV)

“If you ask me anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 14:14 (ESV)

There is a story that has always interested me.

It is one of a Persistent widow who lives in a certain town where there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought, in other words, nothing could make him waiver!

Well, in comes this widow who keeps asking this Judge for justice against her enemy in a dispute, in other words, her rights were being violated and she wanted protection.

This unwavering judge ignored her for a while BUT finally He said to himself,
‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy.
I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’ Luke 18:4 (ESV)

Jesus Christ was the first to share this story with his disciples.

The purpose of the story:
That they should always pray and never give up (Luke 18:1)

Jesus goes on to tell us to learn a lesson from this story: even the unjust judge rendered a just decision in the end, how much more, God’s chosen people, You and I, He will not drag His feet!

Jesus shares the key in closing:

Persistent Faith!

SPEAK THE WORD:

Thank you Lord, because you hear and answer my prayers (in the best way) concerning every area of my life and the lives of others.

I know this because your word says so.

I know that you are a good father who gives good gifts to your children and anything I ask in your name, you will do.

Father, I thank you because my prayers are answered in Jesus name, Amen.Get the FULL Devotional Book Here at 20% OFF – Use CODE “Glory28”
