Happy New Year to You, and Welcome to 2019. It is typical for us all to make plans for the New Year, and is also a good thing. As we make these good plans, there are 2 things we must bear in mind:
God directs our steps:
The steps of a [good man] are directed by the LORD when He delights in His way [and he busies himself with every step] – Psalm 37:23 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)
A Step: a stage in a gradual process putting one foot after the other.
God has plans for our lives:
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future – Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)
Our Dreams, Goals and Aspirations are a journey and require a process of time. There are steps in every process, some with only a few, some with several. We can’t skip the process:
There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs – Zig Ziglar
So the question here really is, What is the next step God is leading you to take?
Identify it, write it down, Ask for wisdom, Take it and then Focus on it.
And then the next step will come

Then one day, just while taking another step, you find yourself at the top of the stairs, in other words, you find yourself reaching the goals, dreams and aspirations you set out to achieve.
All it will take this year, is taking one step at a time.
And as the great Zig Ziglar said, See You at the Top!
