Happy Monday Excelling Ladies!
I was thinking today about the fact that on Mondays, a lot of quotes and articles are shared across the world to moivate others, often hashtagged #MotivationalMonday
There is nothing wrong with this at all, in fact, I want to believe that millions all over, myself included are blessed by this quotes and articles.
But I thought much deeper, what truly motivates me and galvanizes me into action?
For me, it’s the word of God.
The Bible says that “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead (James 2:17), that tells me that my having faith is meant to indeed galvanise or if I may use the word “motivate” me into taking action on the word of God I trust and believe in (and the Word of God is the Truth).
And How do I come about having faith – So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ (Romans 10:17 NLT) – in essence, consistently reading and hearing the word of God (think audio bible) from the Bible itself and through faith teachings.
So, this week and henceforth, let’s look to the Word of God more, for that motivation, that kick-starter, and indeed sustaining power on projects that God has called us to do but we are hesitant or have lost the natural drive for or indeed whatever else that is the will of God for us to do and we find ourselves unable to do in our own strength.
To Your Being More than Motivated,
PS – I will still continue to share motivational quotes as they remain a great way to encourage, uplift and share real-life examples of successful individuals who have paved the way for those coming behind.
